I feel bad for Deej. He was a Bungie super-fan who probably thought he was getting his dream job. I'd like to believe that if Deej had known he was walking into a company that's last two vestiges of honor and soul, in any sort of leadership capacity that is, walked out the door with Marty and Joe that he would have told Bungie-vision to go kick rocks. I said I'd like to believe that, but every shwarmy weekly update makes me doubt it more and more
Clarification: when I say Bungie-vision I am not talking about the countless Everyman/Everywoman who pours their souls into the art, design, coding, etc. That's why on one hand we r able to play one helluva addicting, beautiful game. On the other hand Bungie-vision -blam!-s us daily w/out a thank you and treats us like we're all too blind to see what they've done to this game and their plans for it.

I feel bad for everyone at Bungie. regardless of whether Destiny is good or bad it must be depressing to know that a very large portion of your target audience are awful people.

I'm not sure if u r directing that at me or not. Regardless, I don't agree w/ the way a lot of the vitriol and anger is expressed but do u think that actions don't bring w/ them repercussions (as applied to anything, not just video games)? The whole point to business is to make money but there has to b a balance struck. Wether that is Employer:Employee benefits and contracts or production/overhead:price point/consumer. If u promised ur fiancé the greatest night of her life and showed her pictures and video of the limo, restaurant, etc. for months leading up to the big night. Only to take her to Outback in a taxis, left it for her to pay the bill and told her if she wants what u showed her she just has to give u more money. Do u think she would b happy w/ u? Early on in the relationship most people would dump u. But if u had been together for years and she just didn't understand why u were treating her like that, don't u think ur home life would b hell for a good while? I hope u would understand her reaction, u brought it on urself. Now if u continued to b a dick by acting like she was crazy for getting bent out of shape over it bc all u did was try to show her a good time, don't u think that would escalate the situation? Then for a coup des gras u STILL show her all the pictures of the nice things u had promised and told her all she needed to do was give u more money, u would get zero sympathy from me. In closing, I too don't like the way a lot of the displeasure is expressed, the SWATing as an example, but Bungie's actions/decisions r what brought it on.
