Hey everyone, vVvDARK WOLFvVv here, ok, so I am sure I am not the only one here who is irritated by ranking high on your team in crucible and having nothing to show for it, while the people who under-perform get legendary or even Exotic gear. So I wanted to throw out a proposal for making the crucible loot system a bit more skill based, Here it is:
Winning Team:
- Everyone gets loot
- Top 3 on team gets 2 items of Rare or Legendary status with a SMALL chance of ONE Exotic. (Lets say 1st has 5% chance of exotic, 2nd has 3% chance of exotic, 3rd has 1%chance of exotic, or some variation)
- Remaining 3 gets one Rare (or uncommon if below lv20) with a chance of legendary based on performance (Lets say a 5% for Legendary for 4th, a 3% for 5th, and a 1% for 6th, or some variation)
Losing Team:
- Everyone with a 0.5 K/D OR HIGHER gets loot
- The top 3 on team, if above 0.5 K/D, get 2 pieces of loot with Rare quality and a chance of a legendary, no chance of Exotic (Lets say 5% for 1st, 3% for 2nd, 1% for 3rd, or some variation)
- The Remaining 3, If above 0.5 K/D can only get Rare (or uncommon if below lvl20) quality loot No chance of higher rarity.
Of course this is always open to discussion, this is just a basic template I came up with, and player performance, especially for the losing team, is a variable, but I think that this would be a good starting point to look at for the crucible loot system
I look forward to and appreciate all feedback and I also want to see what ideas other people come up with for a crucible loot system
SEE Y'ALL STARSIDE!
TL;DR: Still no, Stop looking and I will stop trolling! lol

I had a game when I had over 30 kills and a 4.1k/d and we lost because I can't take all the nodes myself. Ps: I didn't get a thing, not bitching about it, but each teams top 2 players should have a shot.

So I can get first 20 times and get an exotic? Nope. No sir
-
Ive gotten a Plan C fusion rifle, and the Universal Remote from drops in the crucible. The drop rate is fine.
-
That would make it way too easy to obtain legendaries and exotics.

I think crucible should have the exact same loot chances as the vanguard tiger. It takes the same amount of time to do a tiger strike as a game of pvp . so just make its so everyone at least gets a blue or better and that's it. If everyone was at least getting something then I think the crying about other ppl getting loot would be a lot less. I'll be the first to say I absolutely suck at PvP. But I've never gotten anything better than a blue engram from it. I've actually never seen anyone else get anything better than the occasional purple. In truth its all so rare that anyone really gets anything good from PvP anyway. I feel for the people who get first and see someone at the bottom get a good piece but let's be real. It doesn't happen that often. In reality that person at the bottom isn't getting exotics every game. It just happens every now and then and rubs salt in the wound of how horribly inefficient p p loot is in general. I don't think a system like this is the right fix. Because if the people at the top had increased chances for exotics or legends than they would be at a tremendous advantage to the people in pve. There is no way to augment loot drop chances in pve based on performance. I think every game of crucible should have the exact same loot chances as tiger. That's it. Equal across the board but everyone at least gets something. The people at the top should get more rep or marks for performance but not higher chance at legends or exotics.

I like that winners and lose have the same odds of loot. Those odds could stand improving, but as a whole I feel it makes the crucible a place to have fun without hyper competitive bullshit. I don't want to start getting hate mail because I either draped my team down or shut out the other team
-
Too bad itll never happen cause bungie is more focused on ruining this game than anything else
-
only complaint is I've had rounds where I fished lower on the team but only because of how good we all were and how bad the other team was ( no offense we just rocked them) what happens then? btw we all got nothing in that game so anything would be better
-
I do agree that the PvP rewards system needs a change, but I have slightly different ideas on how it should work. If you're interested, here's my thread.

Upgrade materials like Relic Iron should be a drop, depending on the planet the map is on

I got a 4.0 kill/death ratio once, i got a strange coin for it. I also got a strange coin when I got a 2.0 kill/death ratio. Winning team: -Everyone gets loot. -Top three get rare or higher loot guaranteed - 1st place: - 3% chance for an exotic - 6% chance for a legendary - 91% chance for a rare - 2nd place: - 2% chance for an exotic - 4% chance for a legendary - 94% chance for a rare - 3rd place: - 1% chance for an exotic - 2% chance for a legendary - 97% chance for a rare - Bottom 3 get common to rare loot guaranteed - 4th place - 15% chance for a rare - 30% chance for an uncommon - 55% chance for a common - 5th place - 10% chance for a rare - 20% chance for an uncommon - 70% chance for a common - 6th place - 5% chance for a rare - 10% chance for an uncommon - 85% chance for a common Losing team: - Top 3 get loot - Top 3 get common to rare loot - 1st place - 10% chance for a rare - 20% chance for an uncommon - 70% chance for a common - 2nd place - 8% chance for a rare - 16% chance for an uncommon - 78% chance for a common - 3rd place - 4% chance for a rare - 8% chance for an uncommon - 88% chance for a common Applies to all players: -These \/ affect the percentages - the more medals you get -the higher your kill/death ratio -the more precision kills you get -your level - 20+ -can get only rare and higher - 19- -can get only from common to rare

I'm always afraid of systems that help the rich get richer so to speak. I understand good players want to be rewarded for performance, but that only makes them even better. Unless you add a random chance for a poor player to get some of the best loots they won't get to ever progress. That's why I like that winners get more rep/marks; I just think those need to be more useful (eg: 200 marks for exotic engrams or something).

Bump, this is a great idea man!

No rich getting richer look at America now see what happens
