Though this was a very negative event in life and a complete and utter waste of money and resources, I found myself giggling a bit.
Either a pissed off "wanted to be a fan of Destiny" made the call or just your typical troll

-
I bet the Cops only got shards after the raid on his house
-
do you think they found the other half of destiny in his house?
-
One of these days somebody is going to get killed. If you want destiny to improve, help them help you. Not get them killed. They cant work on the game if they are dead.
-
Anyone who's -blam!-ing stupid enough to swat someone deserves every bit of jail time they get cause you're putting innocent people's lives in danger.
-
You know how stupid of an idea it is to "swat" someone? Next headline for tomorrow will likely read.... "Teen who "SWATTED" Bungie senior executive facing up to 25 years in federal prison"
-
Edited by D3M0NICxRUSH: 11/8/2014 4:41:19 PMThat shit would've had me dying if he said "im holding the family hostage and i want a plan c delivered to my postmaster now"
-
Edited by Classified: 11/9/2014 4:22:46 AMThe kid who swatted the executive probably couldn't get the last piece of raid gear to get to Lvl 30, GOD DANG CHEST PIECES
-
L O -blam!-ing L
-
I lulz.
-
People need to grow the -blam!- up.
-
-
Please tell me that he was the guy who gave the order to cut destiny
-
Police are so f-ckig stupid. Why in the hell would a Developer or anyone living in such a large home in an area like that need 20,000 dollars? Seriously?? They broke out the chopper and this charade only lasted "45 minutes" supposedly before the oh so intelligent police realized that it was a high-end person living there. They made that 45 minute claim to try and not sound as retarded as they are. As for the person that made the call.... kharma has a way of taking care of business. Car crashes and accidents happen every minute. Good luck you little shit.
-
People who continue to do this need to be caught. Complete waste of time and money. It's really not funny.
-
Thats terrible, but hilarious at the same time. hahaha !!!!
-
If it was a fellow xbox gamer and long time bungie fan before all this exclusive crap for the same game for a different console. I'd Hi five him, even thou he wasted a lot of money for the call out
-
the problem is that such a call ccan put lives in danger.. and the basic problem is that such a call MUST be taken serious in US, i all other countries the police will just hang up since noone has an assault rifle and explosives.. .. -.-
-
That's f*cking great! I might use that as a current event for school.
-
People who do this deserve prison -blam!-.
-
What the -blam!- is wrong with people
-
It's not just a waste of money and resources though - being surrounded by armed forces, with fingers on triggers and expecting armed engagement, is a hugely dangerous situation that could go horribly wrong.
-
I'm very easily spooked. Like jump 10 feet in the air, swing arms, and scream type. How does a swat personnel interpret such a reaction when he or she is under the interpretation that they are entering a high danger situation with live weapons on both ends? The point is - swatting can lead to deaths and critical injuries of innocent people. Just recently - the news was talking about how that kid was sentenced to life or something like that after a swat call from him resulted in a fellow gamers stepdad being lethally shot.
-
Some one could've died, why are some celebrating this?
-
That -blam!-er should get the maximum sentence. Who are these assholes that think they can do this?
-
Why does this make you smile? Putting people in danger because you're a man-child with anger issues, a lack of understanding of the videogame industry, and a disturbing relationship with videogames isn't funny. It's sad. Not to mention this person, whoever they are, is probably on the forums whining about dlc costs, yet feels that it's perfectly okay to cost taxpayers thousands of dollars by doing something like this. Seriously pathetic. Not you, this unknown person. It's disturbing that you think justice was served in some way, but that's neither here nor there.
-
Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. One wrong move could've easily gotten this man killed, and all for what? A game? He put this guys life at risk, wasted time and resources that could've been spent on an actual emergency, and brought shame and disgrace on his fellow gamers in a world that still thinks videogames drive people to murder. I hope Bungie sues this fool for every penny he's worth and more.
