What game mode does Destiny need?

I'm thinking survival/wave mode with bosses at certain levels. Or maybe a defence/attack mode where one attacks the tower and the other defends vice versa. Ideas? Edit: the most mentioned ideas will be out into a poll later and hopefully bungie will see it Edit 2: Great ideas guys! Keep em coming! I'll have the poll up with all the suggestions by Monday morning! Edit 3: So I tried to make a poll but it keeps erroring out. Too many poll options I guess. So guys just keep the discussion going and keep this trending. Bungie had got to take notice if we keep making our voices heard!!!

  • A sword of crota game mode that works like protect the leader. Each team gets a team leader who wields the sword of cloth and the leader has some overshield. The team leader has his super bar charged and every time he swings his sword the super depletes a bit and recharges over time. The team leader can use the sword super but at the cost of a really long recharge time. If the team leader kills he builds up more points than his normal teammates and if anyone kills the team leader he is worth a bunch of points. Once the leader is dead a new round starts with a new leader and the game mode lasts 3 rounds or until the total time expires. After the 3 rounds are up the team with the most points wins. Let me know what ya think community.

    • Wouldn't mind if the "Fat Kid" custom gametype from Halo 3 was made into a legit mode. That was fun as hell.

    • Big team battle. Big maps. Multiple types of vehicles(not just two) TDM and objective based game types! I would be so happy.

      Shrek control. Alpha and Bravo must fight for the swamp in the middle of the map. Each team has a set amount of lives and whoever wins the battle has to fight Shrek. Here are Shrek's moves: [b]Shrek[/b] HP: 73,000 Normal attack: Slaps you with his powerful ogre hands. Does 11 damage Higher attack: Used on the player that is doing the most damage. He throws a loose onion at a player and does 30 Damage. Onion juice can splash from the onion, making you cry and harder to see. Has a cool down. Cry effect is now on. Decreased stability and range. Ascendant Attack: Shrek blasts the sentence "WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMP???!!" Has a large AoE radius and can only be stopped by cover. The attack deals 57 damage. Enables "Shrekified". You can not aim and the game will sway to other friendly players and shoot them. Can only be removed when a shrexcorism is performed by the shrexcorism holder. Can only be done twice and only when he is halfway dead Ultimate attack: Shrek grabs a random player and tries to eat him. The player can do a limited amount of quick time events to delay the shrekening. Players must shoot Shrek until he flinches, dropping the player. Can only be used once. You can revive players 2 times during the battle with Shrek. The rewards are RNG. Here are the rewards: Onion zooka Onion Hand Cannon Swampwater Pulse Rifle Ogre armor set Ogrepowering Engram Ascendant material Ogre shader. The shrekening Auto rifle The Shrex Mythoclast.         • Protect the loot team who holds the chest for 3min gets to open the chest with another chest spawning after the first is open then have to find it and hold etc

          Horde mode where you get crucible marks. The mode works by allowing a fire team to choose from nightfall mechanics which increases rewards. Currently there is no way for PvP people to get mats for equipment. Likewise for pve people to get marks without mats. This mod solves both problems. Each round rewards a mark, some glimmer, some faction rep, a chance at an engram or PvP gear, and a small number planetary resources based ob the race you fought against. The longer a fireteam goes the difficulty and rewards scale. The crucible is suppose to be a place where guardians test their light in combat. What better way than an endless horde mode.               • If they are going to bring in modes from other games I'd love to see a Destiny variation of Oddball where you have to keep hold of a Ghost, or maybe the Aegis shield...

              • The "zombie" mode in Halo where a guy would spawn with a sword and have limited time to infect other players. Except now it would be the relic, or sword of crota. This mode is kinda needed as it would help people that don't know how to handle the relic, handle the relic.
