They're good for Normal runs, but just aren't as useful as warlocks or titans on hard. Golden gun just doesn't do enough damage there.

I've been on plenty of raids with hunters. They can't pull they weight on hard.

Ha there are no revives on hard mode, hence no need for hunter medics.
