Hey everyone,
Normally ... I'm not one to complain about a game's lack or abundance of item drops. I'm very familiar with RNG Systems, and understand that it's just part of the game. Furthermore, I'm OK with a game that has a heavy grind component to it. All I ask is that I'm rewarded in some way for spending countless hours grinding for gear, items, or weapons. Should it be a frequent reward? Absolutely not ... but there should be at least SOME form of payoff for someone with 200 hours played.
For some crazy reason, this game has been proper-screwing me out of any form of Raid gear for seven weeks now. The first time I went through the Raid, during week one, I got Red Death and the Legendary Vault Hood (I'm a Hunter). Since then, I've gotten that hood 4 more times and an insane amount of ascendant materials. All of the players I roll with on a regular basis have all gotten every piece of gear they need, and they are now level 30's. That leaves me sitting here trying to understand how this is possible?
I'm writing in the help section in the hope that someone can ease my pain a bit here. I very much enjoy this game. Enough that it gets at least 2 hours of my attention every day. I won't lie ... this is starting to discourage me. Is anyone else experiencing the same "bad luck," or am I just cursed by the Destiny gods?
