Through pure blind luck I got and completed the bad juju bounty and through more blind luck i received Truth from the nightfall and suros from a legendary engram and some bs hunter gauntlets for beating atheon. But i definitely earned the coins and motes of light for my patience and time and a few exotic Armours.

It's not much of a list though so I'll keep buying what I can from Xur. RNGesus has only seen fit to grace me with 4 drops higher than rare (playing since launch). I earned Thorn. I also got the Skull of Dire Ahamkara from a legendary helmet drop BEFORE the patch update. I will say that my epic luck "skill" earned me that one and I love every minute of using it.

If you're referring to the exotic bounties, this list will be very short. If you're referring to Xur alone, then running weekly 3 times a week, every week is putting 3 times the effort into getting them. That IS legit.

Well every exotic bounty I have finished I earned. Other than that all others Consist of rng and some cheese.. hmm I could say you earn them in nightfall cause lately they have been getting a lot more tougher but it is also rng there

If by earn you mean throught exotic bounties I could see that. Everything else I completely random. Even xurning something is technically more earned than rando handouts And for those of us in my situation xur is the ONLY way to get anything exotic! My luck w rng is that bad as are many others... VOG and nightfall 9 times each. And I have only Ever been given one gun. And no armor This week... Fifth ship after atheon, and 5 (yes five) shard for the nightfall

lol, this post should be renamed "I haven't accomplished anything in life so this is all I have to be proud of". Who cares how you attain anything in this game, it's a game!!! If you wanna buy your exotics, great!! If you wanna cheese some bosses, good on you! If you didn't have the item before, and now you do, you had to put in some effort to get it. That is what I call earning it.
