Everything that my characters have equipped or not equipped. The moment I went to the store and handed the guy behind the counter my money for the game then went home and put in time playing the game is when I earned them. Doesn't matter to me if I got them from xur or from engrams or strike/crucible rewards. I paid for the game, I play the game, I earned them.

I EARNED the amount of strange coins needed to purchase an exotic. I haven't got LUCKY to the point of RANDOMLY finding one in a game.

I buy every exotic possible from Xur every Friday just to have them in my bank and believe it or not.. I was doing so in the hopes that a post like this would come along! What are the odds!

14 RepliesWell, I found $40 on the sidewalk once. I definitely earned that. Definitely more than the $40 I got from mowing a couple of lawns that summer (this was like 10 years ago). I once earned a Charizard card from a random pokemon booster back that my grandmother bought me. I earned a Chik-Fil-A sandwich from my roommate once. Brought it home out of the blue. I got a Megazord action figure for Christmas once that I earned from my parents.

First exotic I got was the ice breaker and I thought it was super badass and I was so lucky. Then a few weeks later xur sold the ice breaker and now mines not cool anymore because everyone has one... :(
