I bring to you an official announcement from the DoD admin team regarding the future of our community. Please take a minute to read and give us your feedback.
"First off, we want to say we LOVE this community. We've dedicated ourselves to making this place the very best it can be, for all of our members. You guys are awesome and we would be nothing without you!
We are in-game battling the Vex alongside you. We are on the forums everyday. We chat with you, and we LISTEN.
Things have started to change in our community. For some, Destiny is still glorious. For others, it sits on a shelf next to Dinklebot gathering dust as they begin to jump into new games. Either way, everyone agrees that something special has been formed here and this group should stick together no matter what happens. We've got you covered.
In an effort to provide a greater community across multiple games, the DoD is about to undergo a transformation. We are moving our headquarters away from bungie.net and over to dadsofdestiny.net . There, you should expect to see a shift away from focusing on Destiny the game, and a greater focus on the Destiny of this community. We will be launching our very own new, robust, feature-rich forums to provide a community hub for all the games that get you going. Expect new daily and weekly content from the DoD podcast to Twitch to Youtube, and beyond.
This is going to be epic. Its all for you guys. More details to come soon."

Edited by S7even_UK: 11/7/2014 9:50:17 AMI agree with Lego. I had around 20 friends from my Army days on PSN, a lot of whom are away being busy with work. Coming on here as allowed me to connect with more mature gamers and I am glad to say that my experience with the members from here is around 98% in the positive (the other 2% know who you are lol). I certainly would not have raided as often and would have definitely struggled more with the weekly challenges had I not had chance to post requests on the forum. What would be really useful I think moving forward would be a more intuitive way of showing users PSN user names. It's hard to know which ones I have and which ones I don’t. Maybe the website can have a better way than that which Bungie.net have of showing users? Steve PSN - S7even_UK
