Dear Bungie Lords of Mictlan,
Where is Destiny's STORY going ?
It occurs to me that though you've provided a lot of diverting activities for players in terms of Strikes, Patrol, Public Events, the slaughter fest called Crucible, and the horrible beat down you call the Raid....these activities vary widely in their connection to the story line.
After doing the Raid a few times, I now see NO REASON to keep doing it.
Oh I see you offer "Raid Gear" and "Raid Weapons" for finishing the %#@*^$ Raid
But really, what's the point ?
What's the point of doing the Raid - OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN....if it does not advance a STORYLINE ?
You want my character to get more powerful.
Okay - DONE.
Now how will this powerful character help save humanity ?
Who will speak to my character about the role they have to play ?
Who will help us connect the dots in this scattered jig-saw of a story you've flung at us ?
Where are the answers to be found to all the questions I wrote you about last time I wrote to you about Destiny's fractured story line ?
"I could tell you.........about the Great Battle Long Ago........." ( but I won't ).

I'll help: The Traveler, before going into a coma, resurrected Peter Dinklage and installed an imprint of his mind onto machines called Ghosts. The Ghosts are programmed to ressurect the dead for use a shock troops against the Darkness. However, each Dinklebot only has one respawn ticket and so must choose carefully which pile of bones to respawn or something. Then Dinklebot warns you you won't understand anything that's going on. Then you shoot at Fallen who are scavenging Old Russia for... Something. Then the Speaker sends you to Luna, which Bungie thinks is named "The Moon". Your mission is to retrieve the Travelers stool, which was stolen by the Hive so that they could drain its light. Or something. Then you use a sword infused with Darkness to kill the, um, Darkness. ??? Then, after a confusing slog through Venus and Mars, you encounter The Heart of The Black Garden on Mars, I think. It's here that you realize that The Black Garden was originally the interior of The Traveler and Bungie changed it to avoid royalty payments to Joseph Staten. The Traveler is the Darkness and the Darkness is Bungie. Then a robot with bewbs gives you a gun. THE END
