9/25 a date that will live in Infamy for the rest of Destiny's life, for me at least. On this day my account became bugged. I was enjoying a day of missions and bounties, had a nice sack of loot to exchange with the devil. While talking to the bounty board suddenly got thrown back to the title screen. Thought "ok that was weird I haven't been having too many disconnect issues" humming a long i flew my ship back to the tower and noticed all the stuff i had done in the past 5 minutes had reset. Well ok i dont mind turning in my bounties again no big deal. And once again thrown back to the title screen. But this time it was different. This time my gaming experience would change forever. Centipedes Littered my screen I had no idea what to do! I had been playing fine for the first two weeks of the game but suddenly my nat was an issue? Scoured the forums looking for an answer but none arose. I thought patience and time will reveal all things. Boy was I wrong. Week on pasted with me checking the forums many people posted their issues and some people had their issues solved but alas not mine. I could log onto other accounts on my Xbox and play destiny. But it wasn't the same, I had my warlock and my hunter with gear that was hard earned. I didn't want to start over from scratch. It was unique to that particular account and so my hopes were crushed and I resorted to checking the forums on a daily basis looking for reprieve.
As the hours turned to days and the days turned to weeks I would check the forums daily and attempt to log in once in the morning and once in the evening. Finally i thought they might have fixed it they released a new patch! But alas it was not to be. My centipedes that I had come to share a bond with morphed rather grotesquely into Zebras! Now my screen was rampant with these wild beasts. But it had renewed a little hope into Bungie that they will resolve this issue. But yet again the hours turned to days and days turned to weeks. Faith was lost I no longer checked forums day in and day out instead i would attempt to log in once a day to say Hello and feed my now pet zebra. And then the unthinkable happened, Bungie released another patch. One that reignited my hopes for an answer! But one more time i was left only with disappointment. Not only did they not fix my account they also took away my pet zebra, I'm sure Fred is in a better place, one that can comfort him more than my daily visits. . . They left me instead with a weasel, one who i cannot help but despise since he was the bearer of hope right before it was crushed. This weasel and i can never be friends and I would very much like to return it to Bungie and in exchange i would like my Hunter and my Warlock back. Even if they can be transferred to another account since it is quite apparent that they cannot fix mine. I believe that is a fair deal Bungie, you can keep my money that you have basically stolen, you can have your centipede, zebra (Fred), and weasel back. and me the consumer can finally do what i should have been able to do for the past month, PLAY THE GAME I PAID FOR. Thank you for reading my tale of sorrow and hardship and I hope to continue this series in the future. Hopefully a sequel in which I'm happy, you have your weasel back, and I am getting my money's worth... finally
