This is presumptuous, and bold, but I'll say it:
Yeah. We deserve some more free content.
I really like Destiny, a lot. It's my jam. But it's full of problems, #1 being that there's not a ton of content. There's just not. I think Bungie knows it too. And it's more than a little worse for the Xbox crowd.
How many raids/dungeons came with vanilla WoW? At least two amazing raids, Molten Core & C'Thun. The Vault of Glass is awesome, but it's one shortish Raid. With 5 dungeons. That have bosses that are reskinned enemies.
What's that? Wow had a monthly fee to fund these things? Well first, I truly believe Activision can handle that. Second, fine: Guild Wars 2. I don't even like that game and it's got free content FO DAYZ.
Destiny is a good game, with a really nasty community. But that nasty community makes some good points, and one of those points is that $60 bought none of us any variety in terms of quests, campaign, planets, dungeons (Strikes).
So I'll buy your DLC eventually, Bungie. Until then, try and check yourself before you wreck yourself.

I think it's far to say WoW never tried to sell itself on having a great story. With that said however, it had more content on launch then Destiny has.

I'll say The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King had pretty good story lines, but they were really just extensions of WarCraft III, a game about story telling. But I digress. The point is that though I like it, Destiny obviously pretty lacks here.
