When you think of a clan, you expect to find something that marks other players and clans from each other, just like in grand theft auto with their gang logo and color. with the clan system, there is no way to set clans apart except the title of their clan. Why would you leave something like this out, Bungie? You could have made a system on your website so that clan leaders could at least create their own special emblems and shaders. these two are basic and simple things that could have been added to show off the clans the most, allowing more players to decide whether or not they want to join a clan based on the actions of the guardian bearing the symbol of a clan or its shader. you could have also made an engine for basic designs of armor for classes from adjustable and modifiable presets of previous armors, allowing small changes to the armors to give diversity in a clan's ideas. Same with weapons, jump ships, and sparrows. Also, you should think about adding a cardinal system to make sub-missions to keep guardians occupied when they have finished with the main story line. Also, what about some kind of crucible activity clan vs. clan stuff? Let two clans fight against each other to see who can come on top.
some of these features may make your game better and may make people want to play it through the ten years that you plan to spread it for now.
Now to the Guardians:
Who agrees to these kinds of features?
P.S. All those looking for a clan, Grimm Watch is open for new recruits. Everyone is welcome to join!
