As do many. I've played a good but of strikes (that one) where players want to outright wipe it clean of enemies...
Completionist it is in that case.

Huh, it honestly never occurred to me to kill those enemies in the yard, on Devil's Lair. I don't remember what level I was when I first did that mission, but I remember assuming that you were meant to sparrow to the beginning like the Ishtar Sink strike. I almost always skip the public mobs, but I really don't consider myself to be a runner.

Consider this weeks weekly. You could fight all the mobs in the first room, or you could just bullet dodge them and go straight to the lieutenant fight outside (first darkness zone). That's what I did. Too many wasted rounds on those damn things for no loot. Especially nightfall when everything is over shielded :/

Yeah, considering I had to run that mission 9 times in order to overcome desyncs/mistakes and finally get 4 successful runs on my two characters, I started skipping that part as well. Too much time and ammo burned for no real benefit.

And the logic is weird: you have the same chance for engrams from killing level 1 shanks on earth that you do killing level 28 cabal ultras (colossus!)... So yeah. That whole stupid room = Olympic sprint practice. No kidding, only started skipping this week after a couple of nightfall wipes on the boss. The only thing I dreaded was that damn room. Finally I was like... Wait a minute!!!! There's no darkness here. What the hell am I still doing fighting this stuff?!! Odd that it just dawned on me :P

I have a friend who pointed that out to me when I was complaining. Lucky I didn't waste more time in there than I did. Also, I still don't understand why low tier mobs drop just as often as high-level majors...

See that is just top much... When I was low level I used to do that... Now that I'm lvl 30 I don't bother with anything thats not at least lvl 24 (the lowest strike I ever play is the lvl 24 strike playlist)
