Games are inherently one of the least efficient things out there, fun as -blam!-, but very inefficient. Therefore anything you do in a video game is inefficient so if you are that worried about efficiency stop playing videogames. You can play however you want, but please dont call it efficient.
Side note 1: (Unless of course you do reviews for a website with a lot of people reading and its part of your job then you guys are being efficient)

I could go to Mars and kill 100 enemies, then go to Earth - kill more enemies - and collect my mites. Bounties completed. 100% effective. Let's say that took an hour... I could go to Earth and kill 100 enemies, and collect the mites *at the same time*. Let's say that took half an hour. Bounties completed. 100% effective. *More* efficient. Playing games may be an idle pursuit, but if you can achieve more with less while you're playing, it's still efficient in the context of the game.
