Uses computer to scan for your location. After narrowing it down I send my ship to rescue you. Evac is on the way. Hold on

The Harbinger emerges from the shadows with dozens of Ballistas and makes its way to the dying aero.
i thought Aero was in space near furii. How is this even possible? I'm confused.
-
#conspiracytheoriesandgetyourassmoving
lol, and this is what I get for being realistic with my actions
Arrives at Aeros position. Uses damaged cloaking system to try and rescue Aero without alerting the plague forces.
Going to bed. Chances are That I'll be dead next time I log on anyway.

I'm adding my own story here to explain my recent absence.
The stealth systems on the ship hold long enough for me to infiltrate past the first wave of basilisks but then they start giving out. Now aware to my presence, the basilisks start opening fired on my ship. As the ships shields start to fall, I try to reverse thrust but it's no use I am completely surrounded. Out of options, I start to activate my automated distress beacon. Next thing I know is that a basilisk is on the canopy of my cockpit. In one fluid motion the monster rips off the canopy and I am sent hurtling into space. The creature grabs onto me and roars at me, it's eyes filled with hunger. Acting quickly, I pull out a frag grenade from my belt pull the pin and shove it down its throat. Activating my thruster pack, I push off the creatures torso and try to escape the explosion. Seconds later the creature explodes and I am sent off track drastically by the impact with parts of the creature splattering all over me. Drifting through space toward Furii station, I finally fall into unconscious. Next thing I know I wake up in a hospital on Furii station with an oxygen mask and several iv's in me. I am told that I fell into the hanger door moments before the station went into warp and that I was unconscious for about two days. I check out of the hospital a few hours later ready to help my brothers and sisters in arms against the Plague. At the same time I start to feel this nagging sensation that something is watching me...

Hey I didn't see your comment. Aero and I have been keeping it alive. We are now at the mysterious colony in the mining facility. Want to join in?
-
Uh sure sounds like fun. I thought this thread was dead so I've kept away from it but I'm glad to see a few valiant people are still around.
-
Haha yea, I will label my latest comment "Part 1" for you so you know where we are
-
you and me both, I'm laying face down in the station bay unconscious with the harbinger attacking the bay doors
-
this should be fun....fuck you harbinger....oh well. Oh and sorry about the added injuries.
-
ha! Injuries will only matter if DM lets my plan play out when I come back to focusing on this tomorrow (today?)
-
Plague don't need to breath. Also, I'll explain the Harbinger's excessive mobility later. Spoilers.

Edited by Shipmaster: 11/6/2014 4:05:59 AMI look out from the window of the space station as the old station rips itself apart. *Aero if you can hear me do something. Anything so we can pinpoint your location. You saved my life...let me return the favor.*

Harbinger just warped toward Aero location. What should we do?
-
hate to rush y'all but we are both unconscious and this thing is friggin shooting at us. Adrenaline shots...mech suits...laser sharks...anything will do
Edited by Elder1Herald: 11/6/2014 12:31:49 PMI have a better idea. Runs toward bat and picks up some drinks. Let's get him so drunk that we have to drive him home!
yeeeeeeeeess we neeeeeeed laser sharks!!!
The Harbinger drops down onto the floor, about 30 ft from your location. Due to the lack of gravity, it has to walk each step by plunging its talons into the ground. It will not reach you immediately.

Edited by aero198: 11/6/2014 6:22:44 PM*my rig's infected proximity alarm starts blaring in my head rousing me from my unconscious state, I lazily look back and my eyes widen and my pulse races when I see the harbinger stabbing its way toward me. The disfigured face disgusting and twisted in a murderous way. I take notice im in one of the outermost Furri hangers connected to the main station by only a single hallway with Shipmaster floating beside me and immediately start thinking of a way to escape knowing with my injuries and state of mind it would be impossible to fight the harbinger.* im going to lose my only physical weapon but I guess dying would be worse... *I disconnect a nitrous thruster from my leg and crudely attach it to my starfire katana as spots float across my eyes noticing the harbinger had closed about half the distance to us. I grab onto SM as I activate all my thrusters aiming my sword at the harbingers face* go... *as I let go of the sword it slices through its head, and continues to burn it with the thruster and heat from the sword constantly in contact. My right arm burns from the force of dragging SM as we fly through the airlock into the hallway, bouncing off the walls due to my inability to think clearly* *i throw SM into the next room and am surprised to see him drop to the ground in artificial gravity as I float through the door I'm immediately pulled to the ground. I turn to the control panel that controls the systems for the hallway and decouple it from the main station with its retro-rockets firing so as to pull it away from the station as I slump to the ground in exhaustion*
god damn... Now give me a break! I've been harassed for 2 days straight!
Edited by Shipmaster: 11/8/2014 1:01:59 AMI am jarred awake by a sudden pressure all around me. Dear god it got me....the harbinger got me...wait....no....I see light... I slowly look around myself. The area around me is hazy. I shake my head and try to focus my eyes. The interior around me slowly comes into focus. We...we are ALIVE!!! I snap into high-alert. The Harbinger. What happend. Where the hell is Aero? I look over and see Aero on the floor beside me. He appears to be breathing. Aero. Aero! Can you hear me??? I reach over and shake his shoulder....
-
god damn this is far behind now lol, gotta get back into the game
*my eyes flutter open* I need... Radiation too... Blacking out... Again..
-
I stand to my feet. Damnit....gotta get Aero to a med bay... I put Aero into a fireman's hold and slowly start making my way down the darkened hallway. I pass a mark on the wall: 19E. 19E...there should a med bay not to far away from here. I could not believe my luck. Med bay 19 was specially outfitted to accommodate engineers. As engineers we faced countless dangers and radiation was just one of them. The med bay was fitted with a special chamber that did some medical voodoo that I didn't understand and reversed the effects of radiation. If the damage wasn't too bad... I continued down the hallway...I fancied myself hearing the sick-wet sound of Plague behind me. However every time I turned around nothing was there. It's just my imagination...nothing there you idiot...just keep on moving!!!! I looked ahead of me. A long light shone in the distance. The med bay! The med bay was on separate power from the rest of the stations due to it's key role in saving peoples lives. With renewed hope I moved forward. I happened to look to my right and I say a room labeled "equipment." I should get myself some sort of weapon...god only knows what's around here or in the medical area. Cautiously I entered the room. On the walls were racks of plasma cutters, pulse rifles and line guns. I looked at my RIG. It was a mess. My HUD has destroyed, my health indicator had broken a long time ago and it was filled with cuts. If I ever am in a no-oxygen zone I am a deadman. I saw several RIGs hanging in the room. I grabbed two: one for Aero and one for me. I changed into my RIG and grabbed two pulse rifles and two plasma cutters. When Aero wakes up I have a feeling he will need these. Supplied with weapons and a new RIG I continued on to the med bay. I entered slowly...the lights were on. Thank god...no more of this see-in-the-dark shit. I immediately searched the area, made sure it was clear and then locked down all the doors. Nobody was getting in. I located the radiation chamber and placed Aero inside. I walked to the control panel and activated it. A low hum emanated from the chamber. Alright. Now we see if this thing works. I sat back in a comfortable-looking office chair. I started to relaxe...it was all good...everything was under-control. "Creak" I shot up, pulse rifle in hand. The sound of metal scratching against metal came from...above. Oh shit shit shit! What's the point of locking down an area if you can still crawl through the freakin air ducts!?!?? There were numerous air ducts but none were big enough for a man-sized creature to fit though. "Crash" I spun around. On the floor was a bent duct cover. Standing on it was...a fucking child...or what was a child...it was mutilated...it had a piece of metal sticking out of it's chest...it's hollow eyes bore through me... That's messed up... I raised my rifle and fired....
