I used to be a completionist until I saw how easy it was to run through the content.
Bungie needs to put in more hard checks because running can't possibly be intended as is.

That's a good point, but most of the strikes start in the same open world as everyone else. Maybe if each strike was instanced, then normal mobs could be upscaled to higher difficulty, and therefore challenging. As it stands, if I'm starting in the level 8 rocket yard for Sepkis, I'm cooking through to the darkness zone... Great point! Thanks for commenting.

Edited by InstaGood: 11/6/2014 2:11:23 AMI think it's fine to run straight to the instance. That's no different than any other MMO... However, you can run through much of the darkness zones too. Each strike has only a couple sections where you have to fight. Hopefully future DLC or sequels approach strikes a little differently. Perhaps reward people for performance, so we're not simply rushing through to the end because rewards are random and getting it done quickly is thusly optimal.

Yup. Running is the efficiency gamer option. If there was a reason to fight and make it worth it, more might choose to stay back.
