The reason why Destiny won't last ten years
So of course Bungie claims that Destiny is supposed to last ten years. But judging from the fans and negative feedback it does not look like it will.
But besides that, there is an obvious reason why it will not last ten years. It is lacking a very serious component...

[spoiler]Reference to Team Fortress 2 for those that don't know because that game seems like it will last over 10 years due to the many updates it receives and the many hats people just love to collect. And yes, I understand they meant the Destiny franchise will last for 10 years, not the first game itself.[/spoiler]

I was gonna be a smart ass and say the reason that [b]Destiny[/b] won't last 10 years is cuz of Destiny 2 lol but u ruined that plan........
