What if, Phogot went rampant juggernaut and escaped, wandering over the Moon to kill every Guardian to dare step on? What if Valus Ta'aurc felt offended by the amount of Guardians hauling his terrain and decided to take action on Mars surface, patrolling and keeping his gates? What if Sekrion really take a step forward on turning Venus in another Mercury?
Don't know it will be really sick, don't you think?

For a minute there I thought you meant a free phogoth cuddly toy. Shit now I've said it they will probably go and do it
-
That would be awesome! The public events are such a joke and can be handled by one person it's laughable. A real public event should have 20-60 guardians facing onslaughts of constant enemies and something like a phogoth would be great to.

Edited by Hurphy: 11/5/2014 11:35:21 PMHow about the moon transforms into Unicron and Paul McCartney plays some White Lion cover while we infiltrate Unicron's body and open the guardian matrix of leadership to light our darkest hour?

That would be awesome.
-
Yes, and it would be so refreshing!

Edited by Killer4life7670: 11/6/2014 12:44:01 PMThe problem with things like this is that destiny is still bound to serving the old consoles, which are technologically inferior to the next gen consoles, which are also inferior to high tech pc's. It would be feasible on the next gen consoles, but the servers woud also likely need a bit of upgrading. Last gen consoles would likely see bf4 level crashes and disconnects in content like this were to be ported over, simply due to their hardware restrictions. Because so many penny pinchers are still holding onto their old hardware, we won't be able to see things like this, because if only next gen consoles got things like this, there would be a heavy amount of hate towards bungie for excluding last gen consoles from content, which would be economically stupid and bar them from much needed profits. Destiny 2 will likely revise and fix a lot of the problems that destiny had, and when you add to that the fact that it will by that time have broken free of the restricting shackles of old consoles, i can see destiny 2 being one of the biggest upcoming underdogs the gaming world has ever seen. This is also probably why things like the planned trading system (likely a Runescape Grand Exchange esque mass trading system, not one like borderlands) were removed-because of hardware and server restrictions on the old consoles. When you think of an xbox 360, think of an average pc from 2005,and then try thinking about how you would run a game like destiny, even with the massive graphical cuts compared to next gen/current gen consoles.

YESSS! N just make the real bosses even stronger n have fire teams come together. N maybe a cool super boss that everyone can go after cause he's insanely difficult
-
Didn't DC universe online do something like this? I remember seeing huge enemies and lots of pretend superheroes fighting it. In between my many deaths fighting I remember thinking it was fun.
-
You want world bosses? Cause yeah that sounds awesome.
-
That is smart they should put bosses in it but not events that would be so cool
-
Phogoth unchained?
-
This would be amazing, a public strike event. Make the bosses harder than nightfall bosses, but with the same rewards you would get from a nightfall. Each boss could only get out once per week though(per system) at a random time, so people couldn't wait around to farm
-
And yet no employee of bungie here to at least comment on the great ideas to make this game more fun Its sad really
-
Seems legit. But why the bosses we already killed? How about new ones that aren't just scaled up enemies we've already seen.
-
Bump although all these enemies have passed away
-
On Earth it would be cool if a battalion of devil walkers come and shanks are constantly pouring out and sniper vandals are pinning you down while captains charge you and for reward you get legendaries or a small chance of an exotic
-
Wouldn't that just make the strikes pointless?
-
like Saturday, the moon has ogres at every creep camp, and so on for each planet

Edited by SERAPH-X7: 11/6/2014 12:24:32 PMYES! Huge world instances, where a message would go out to all players in that server(is that even possible?) Something like, "Calling all guardians! This is the Vanguard speaking, we have multiple reports coming in that (boss/monster) is running rampant in the vicinity of( planet/ area), critical assistance is needed, terminate target with extreme prejudice, Vanguard out!" Damn that would be epic! Imagine seeing a whole squad or platoon of Guardians laying waste to a huge monster out in the open, I'm giddy just thinking about it. Something like the hunt events from other MMO's. You'd die a lot of course, there would be no timers for revive, only the people around you could revive you. There would be minions that spawn throughout the conflict zone which drop ammo and the instance would last a great amount of time. Just some ideas.

yeah I don't understand why they didn't do this for every strike boss (and don't give me the last gen/new gen crap). they did it with the huge spider thing on earth, why not all of them. the public events really suck. putting the strike bosses in would actually be a bit of a challenge, but who wants that right? next Tuesday will show how many people really like this game. cod has taken my raid buddies, I'm holding out for halo.
-
Awesome idea dude.
-
This reminded me of the fight against Antharas in Lineage 2. Bump
-
Bump! Would make this game much better
