What if, Phogot went rampant juggernaut and escaped, wandering over the Moon to kill every Guardian to dare step on? What if Valus Ta'aurc felt offended by the amount of Guardians hauling his terrain and decided to take action on Mars surface, patrolling and keeping his gates? What if Sekrion really take a step forward on turning Venus in another Mercury?
Don't know it will be really sick, don't you think?

Sounds op, will upset casuals

You mean a world boss? That idea is 15 years old and a good one hence, why would Bungie bother doing something good? Not to mention the 16 player limit in patrol instances would mean the boss would have to be pretty weak in order for it to be taken out. That leave it open to glitches, and cheating. Nope, unfortunately Bungie built their game based on Bad architecture and isn't scalable to have enough guardians in one area to take on a world boss. Just look at the Crota public mission. Way too easy.
-
What would be even better is Valus AND Phogoth fighting each other. Then you show up in the shit storm of chain gun rounds and that purple mind shit Phogoth shoots and have yourself a battle.
-
Not just -blam!-h, but more stronger larger bosses. Roaming around just feels like a waste of time. At least give us a couple hundrer glimmer for those mini bosses.
-
Yes yes yes - all well and good. But they all move so slowly we'd have time to prepare breakfast, iron our smartest sets of armour, polish up our guns to a very high degree of shininess - and still get to wherever we are to stop the 'juggernaut' with time to spare for tea, crumpets and medals. You know, you'd have thought I had a point to make here somewhere...I'll get my coat.

BUMPPPPP

Bumpinstien.

That would be cool Phogoth could burst out of the ground and everyone would be like 'ohh s***...' With dinklebot like 'Im ready when you are'
-
Pretty sure he couldn't get through the doorway. #Fatty Phogoth
-
Until Phogoth misadventures into the hell mouth... Surface level baddy cheese all day long until they patch the AI that makes the game's bosses run away from tiny amounts of damage over time.

I have said this to my buddies. That would be cool!
-
This could be interesting to see. However I would suggest them have different names and maybe not being quite as powerful (but still dangerous).
-
He should've never been a boss in the first place. That's all he's good for!
-
I like the idea of an overpowered boss that gets released in areas randomly. There is the issue that canonically (with what little we have to work with) we defeat phogoth before he ever sees the surface. I love the idea but I'd rather see a whole new boss/mini boss than one recycled.
-
That would shake things up a bit. bump

Phogoth runnjng around on the moon did put a nice image in my mind... I like this idea...
-
Yes! Let Phogoth run rampant!
-
This is a great idea, reminds of of defiance how they had huge boss spawns. Fun as shit!!!
-
There's a "mini phogoth" on the earth that's hidden, kinda fun to go and find
-
-
That would be nice
-
That is so cool, bosses patrolling, also you get a good reward by beating them
-
love the idea.
-
Hehe...that would be amusing.
