So this is a suggestion for how to handle the light level system and balance the ability to keep the armor we want. Bungie stated we would have a wide variety of personal armor customization that would make our guardians unique. But with raid gear being the only way to get to the current max level, the only unique option we truly have is colors/shaders, which also need major changes. SO Heres the pitch.... 20 motes of light given to the speaker should give you a light transfusion which allows you to choose a piece of armor to add 2 light points to, and of course a maximum amount of upgrades is needed. This would allow people to keep armor that they happen to like the look of, instead of making everyone where the same armor that HAS to be earned by the same mission (VoG). And it would be a major let down if the only way to reach light lvl 32 was to get new raid gear from the new dlc. And then everyone would again be forced to wear 60% of the same armor. i mean what about the people who buy the Dark Below and just dont like or want to do the VoG raid... are they gonna be prohibited from playing the missions they paid money for?
