Gotta say I can condone this sort of play style in this situation. You played to your classes strengths and adjusted to the moment. I absolutely hate it when playing the 3v3 mode and your team leaves you to fight on your own. Usually if I see this happen to someone on the other team, I either sit down so it's only 2v1 or try and join their fire team if it is open. I to have been on the short end of the stick for this sort of thing and I gotta say, it sucks. Especially when you are against a team that is coordinating. I remember this one time my team mates left because the other team had wiped our team a few times so I was on my own and I was getting owned badly, then one of them had the nerve to t-bag my corpse as if they had so much skill to take me down. (From that point on I managed to get a few double and triple kills coz it put a flame in my belly). Lucky I'm not the type to quit just because I have no team mates, otherwise I'm not sure if they would get end game rewards for having no one to fight. Point is, there should be a penalty for those who quit (and don't worry about the people who just disconnect. Bungie knows the difference between someone who disconnects and someone who physically pushes the return to orbit button).
