The Death of Destiny
Destiny has been one of the most groundbreaking FPS games in a long time. Unfortunately it will be a dying game in about 24 hours. Without additions to destiny like private lobbies and competitive play lists COD is going to wipe the floor with Destiny. Bungie tried to make an"Friendly" FPS with no trash talk or in game communication. Sorry but you failed. A game like this needs those aspects in order to breed teamwork, strategy, and new rivalries to get people to keep playing. Mechanically bungie did a great job with this game but unfortunately these poor decisions regarding PVP will be the down fall. Bungie I would highly suggest making fixes and updates within the week in order to stop the massive blood loss you are about to endure. COD is way to popular of a PVP for you guys to bring a knife like destiny to an RPG fight like COD.... Disappointing

Help me! I'm getting flash backs to 2005-2009 era when every other MMO that was coming out was suppose to kill WoW! And none have.

I cant do more than 20 seconds in any match without wishing i was playing BF4 or Titanfall. Regarding Destiny as a whole, i suspect now that CoD:AW is out and Activision have made a mint on THAT, we will see Destiny finally getting decent updates and content. Because Activision are that damn sneaky: theyre not gonna let any game take the focus from theyre no1 moneyspinner. Both games are out now and Activision will want people to play both and invest more money in them so while it goes without saying CoD fans will get the season pass for that game, Bungie will now be alowed to release decent stuff for Destiny in order to keep people interested

10 RepliesHave you played the new CoD? It's bloody awful. Destiny is in a whole different league when it comes to aiming/movement skills and teamplay (at least in Skirmish etc). Some prefer this spammy chaos and might not come back. Many will realise how much better the Crucible is. And it is better. Much better. But yeah, the things you want would be a welcome addition and I suspect will be added.

19 RepliesYou see the thing is that since Destiny is now Bungie+Activision, they don t care cause you are going to buy an Activision product. Strategy: 1.Form a partnership with a competitor that could outplay you and get a better game than you(aka Bungie). 2.While working together manage to hype the hell out of the game but at the same time destroy everything good you see in it, so as just to release a crap game. 3.Make profit on the initial sales and then let the game die.= $$$$$$$$$$ 4.Wait for disappointed and frustrated players to jump to THE REAL GAME YOU WANT THEM TO BUY (aka COD AW). 5.Make more profit from this second game = $$$$$$$$$ 6.Try to scam blind Bungie fanboys that keep thinking they will get the game you promised them, by selling them cut content as DLC. 7.Make more profit from this fools ==$$$$$$$$$$$ Sad but true.

BTW - very few of these friends played Destiny for the PvP, these were raid players and clan mates. Hmmmm... Wondering what your friends list and activity looks like?

2 RepliesMaybe that's what Activision wanted in the first place? A game that would push people back to CoD, their main money making franchise. This wouldn't be the first time that they've sacrificed another game at the altar of CoD. I won't be buying it out of principle, let Activision rot I say.

Two major factors are Bungie appears to be ACTIVISION's puppet, and the lack of the games knowledge is due to Bungies everlasting plausible deniability of legendary scale. Examples: Descriptions of upgrades in the game don't tell you what they do. They tell you what the intention of the upgrade is. Same for subclass descriptions. Exotic bounties don't even tell you what to do or how. Ya gotta look it up on wiki or the net. What WAS the balance formula for Iron banner? Nobody knows. How is the crucible formula balanced? No info in game or on the net. In other words.... Here's our game. You bought it. We won't let you know how anything is supposed to work, so if it doesn't ya can't say it's NOT. What will kill this game will be Bungie and Activision. How many mods are on here? DeeJ ? And someone called "the development team". Other than that the SUPPORTIVE MATURE AND RESPECTFUL COMMUNITY who has given positive civil feedback gets what acknowledgement? Zero. There's a HUGE amount of considerate community here. And they've all been ignored. 2 RepliesI highly doubt COD will be the death of Destiny. I did get AW and it is fun, by far much better that mw3 and ghost. However comparing it to Destiny is like comparing apples to oranges. destiny was never about an awesome pvp, it was always about making an enjoyable pve fps, with a side of decent pvp......like most mmo's. Now I agree they should make some updates, for instance the ability for raid matchmaking, I don't have the time or ability to troll reddit and other websites to build teams, so at least give me the option. They should also take a page for final fantasy 14 and have a few free updates which add gear and a raid or two, maybe even a new class. Even if that doesn't happen it has been an enjoyable experience and bungie will do what is necessary to make sure it doesn't completely lose its fan base.

Cod is so glitchy I could never play such a trash game. Destiny does need private lobbies and chat in pvp though, and file share 0ppz
