Very well written. I keep logging in to destiny hoping that I will get that feeling of awe, purpose and excitement that games like Halo brought to me. I don't. Sadly after only a few weeks I've grown bored. I think I am in love with the concept of Destiny and that's why I keep trying to force myself to play it. I have had some fun, but I can't bear the thought that the Bungie that we all know and love, the guys that poured their lives into making incredible games with deep heart felt stories like the Halo series could release a game with no story that feels thrown together and act proud of it. Has Bungie lost its vision? Has Activision forced content cuts for the sake of the dollar? When you first start playing Destiny you don't realize how bare the game is. There are smoke and mirrors in the form of beautiful visuals and character design, but Destiny's appeal is only skin deep. I really hope that this will change, but so far there have been nothing but empty promises. If Bungie doesn't actually change the game this will be a very short lived venture.
