Honestly I've bought two things from him, but I love the character and I like his role in the tower. An easy way to stop the special snowflakes from complaining, and to balance his vending system in general is: Lock strange coins and motes of lights to characters, no longer allowing them to be transferred via vault. This way people can no longer earn 30-ish strange coins a week just for having 3 characters beat the weekly.
