Killed Atheon legit on hard mode two nights in a row. Beat him normal twice this week as well. Both hard groups were complete strangers to each other. Tonight was two 30's and four 29's. Sometimes use center strategy, sometimes relic in back and sometimes we scatter. I have 11 completions as of this post, legit every time. None of this pushing garbage. If only one or two people get teleported, then one or two come in from the gate. Post people at the sync plates prior to teleport so you can jump right in. I was teleported with a prison around me. Picked up the relic, took down the detain and kept rolling. If the Venus Praetorian gives you trouble, kill Hobos first. Stay in the air and ground slam. If your health is low, get in the air! He can't hit you. If you pop through the portal, calmly turn around and step into the light. When back with Atheon, make sure not to bump the relic holder while the shield is up. Keep one or two people to the back by the triangle door. Don't need all six in the shield. Both my Warlocks now have Timebreakers. Yea!

Raid is glitchy. Im sorry atheon is sooo glitchy fix that. If i run through the portal it doesnt send me. I gotta position myself perfectly in the middle. Splash damage in the relics bubble. Patorean coming back to life. This should b on the forums. This is what everyone should b talking about. This should b priority.

Yup, in Bungie's answer to everything, don't expect any real issues to be addressed, but a "fix" made to intentionally drive you further away from the game. When this is all over, the raid will simply consist of Atheon on one end of a narrow corridor and a raid-team at the other. Good luck trying to "fix" this Bungie. You might as well put a bandaid on a decapitation for all the good it's going to do this already broken sham of a game.

You know its a simple fix by having atheon not move every time a grenade is thrown at him (solar grenade).

17 RepliesYou DO realize that you just caused Bungie Developers to side track yet once again to fix something that is truly not broken, yet delay the true glitches & bugs. People really need to stop posting their personal tips & tricks. Bungie is worse than an ADD squirrel when it comes to staying on track to fixing REAL gaming issues!!! They will just waste countless hours more trying to put up more bumpers instead of fixing glitches like the teleport glitches.

3 RepliesMy fix would be, allow Atheon to be pushed off. Since the loot is tied to Atheon, the loot goes over the edge with him. If you fall off the edge, you're equipment goes with you so, this makes sense. This lose-everything-over-the-edge loot drop would count as the loot drop for the week of course. On the bright side, you wouldn't get a chatterwhite ;)

I'm tired of them getting sidetracked with stupid shit. people who exploit and get the gear easily tend to leave the game quicker anyway. by the way I did a normal raid this morning on my lock and Aetheon was walking all over the place not even on solid terrain so I don't know if they broke him more or if it's just a situational bug or what but he wasn't walking off of anything he actually screwed the game up even more. I had to stop using my grenades because it was screwing everybody else up because we were actually trying to do it legit.
