I understand that companies make deals prior the launch of triple A titles with console developers, in the case of Bungie's Destiny, PS4 players receive year long exclusivity of a 3 armor sets, 2 exotics, 1 story mission, and a strike. As an xbox owner, I understand that Bungie's past with microsoft may not be the best, potentially mired in political and bureaucratic nonsense, so when Bungie shipped with year long PS4 exclusives, I wasn't upset, I accepted it.
However, DLC exclusives are an extra step, as quoted in the article from EuroGamer about the Dark Below "And then PlayStation users get a new exclusive called The Undying Mind. They get a new exotic as well. It's centred in The Black Garden as a strike.
Is there any more exclusive content for PlayStation owners?
Harold Ryan: No, not as a part of this release."
I know going to the forums with this information is almost pointless, Bungie is doing exactly what they should be doing, pushing a marketing platform that helps gamers on a specific side of the console war, it is just unfortunate to see that as an Xbox console owner, I'm stuck without content that otherwise would expand the richness of this game.

Well, it does suck, you're right, there was a time I played cod, thank God I'm not playing it anymore, the point is, most xbox players would make fun of their exclusivity and I was like, I can wait 2 weeks to play those maps, now, all the fuss because playstation has exclusivity over the most played game right now causes insults both ends, I agree, fanboyism is stupid and ignorant, you'll play the content eventually or you can just buy or borrow a ps4, whatever it is, the choice is yours
