I am on Xbox 360 (lvl 29 warlock) and in the tower I decided to use a jackolyte consumable. I have not finished the night fall strike, but have finished the weekly heroic and daily, so no flames on my head. Nothing happened, but the cooldown timer for the jackolyte is counting down. Nothing on my character in menu, nothing on my character in game, my head is still the same as before.
Okay maybe I need to go to a location.
Go to do weekly nightfall solo.
Nothing, no new head of any kind in menu or in game.
Alright I think, whatever, I'll just play.
Used an ammo synthesis (primary to be exact) nothing happens. Cooldown timer starts for consumable, but no ammo in my gun or usable inventory. I look at my character and the jackolyte timer has disappeared.
Later I need heavy ammo and decide that I'll use a consumable thinking the first time was a fluke. Still nothing. Cooldown timer is active, but no ammo from it.
Happens a third time and I am pissed that I've spent two heavy ammo synthesis' to get me out of trouble and nothing happened.
So what gives? Is the jackolyte consumable broken? Does it break the ammo synthesis when used? Will I be able to use ammo synthesis again before the jack-o-lantern consumable should cool down even though it's not showing the timer in the start menu? Very bizarre. Something is preventing me from using my ammo synthesis, simplest explanation is the triggering of the jackolyte consumable.
