I'm a Warlock and I purchased Light Beyond Nemesis from Xur when it came available. (yes yes, I'm a terrible human being)
I've nearly leveled it fully (maybe I have) but regardless, I loved the feature that I could rez friends faster, and I could have other rez me faster.
I would always just run up next to a friend, stop and rez.. force of habit perhaps, its just how we do.
Last night I ran a few strikes with some friends. Upon our second strike, one of our friends called it a night, so it was just the two of us. Level 24 being the highest strike we can do (c'mon Bungie!), we figured 2 man-ing would be pretty easy.
We ended up doing the Archon Priest Strike, which can be pretty challenging if you are running around instead of taking the additional hour to chip away at him under the platform.
Anyway, my pal died, and we were heavily swarmed, I managed to jump my way out of a sticky situation and head over to him, but I knew I had baddies on my tail tenfold and was pretty skittish.
By accident.. kinda.. as I was nearing my friend I hit the square button (Ya I'm on PS3), so I had it ready for rez, but with all the adds on me, I didn't feel confident in stopping, so I ran through him holding down the button.
I thought it wouldn't rez him, I thought I would have to find a spot to part and kill a few adds and try again..
It was to my astonishment that he rezzed by me running full tilt through his corpse.
I managed to do this an additional 2 times this battle, and will now be employing this tactic often.
I know this 'faster rez rate' is on other pieces for other classes, so perhaps it will work for you guys too.
(Oh, and yes, he did totally rez in to a huge hoard of adds, lol. But he managed to get out somehow.)
Cheers!

Interesting, I had no idea that it would change it so much.
