take an economics class, your money is valued higher than ours. That dollar amount only means something if A. we americans but the same dlc using your currency or B. you spend your money here, its not like you brits are making 7.25 minimum wage THEN converting that to pounds so stop being so dramatic.
Duh! Of course I know our money is worth more than yours. I pretty much said that in my post. If an item has a value of $20, but my currency has a higher value, then I should have to spend LESS of my currency to meet the value required to purchase that product. That's called LOGIC!
Yes, if I came over to the US, bought an item with dollars and brought it back with me, sure I'd be getting a sweet deal (other than the fact I'd have to pay around £600 for my flights). The difference is, this isn't a physical item, where the more expensive shipping (because of our higher fuel prices) and storage (because we are geographically smaller, putting land and space at a premium) pushes prices up. It's a digital download. You pay 20 dollars for a product that costs the same price to distribute here as it does there, and yet we have to pay $34. How the hell is that right and fair? We should be paying $20 the same as you. Ultimately Activision and Bungie are US based companies, with a global presence selling a product that requires no physical marketplace, so what we spend here in pounds will eventually end up converted to dollars in US bank accounts.
Have you even been to the UK? It's not the land of milk and honey everyone seems to think it is. Our minimum wage is about the same as yours, but EVERYTHING costs more here so I have EVERY right to bitch about it!
Now shut up and piss off you cheeky wanker!
