Take time to read through your grimoire cards. Personally I do this on the app after playing but the very comprehensive backstory is just as interesting as Halo imo. To be fair Bungie was never great at exposition in ANY halo games it was always the synopsis in wikis that gave me the full picture and made me interested in the Haloverse and I feel very similarly about Destiny except the wiki is basically built in.
