While I somewhat agree with most of your sentiments... The only reason you'd feel alone at least in my case (lvl 27 hunter) is trying the daily on hard mode and not being able to complete it myself because none of my friends where on and taking out that many cabal by myself was...after 8 attempts at the final boss guy....fruitless. This has been my only im alone moment in this game. The community is there. There are friendly people out here that want to link up. That are looking for the greatness. I've made more psn friends because of destiny than ever before and I commend them for what I think will be the most successful mmo for a console. We are in new territory and there is so much space yet to explore. I'm on for the ride bungie. You can have those $20 it's not too expensive for my tastes and I feel like anything we get in it is worth it.

I solo the daily on 28 every day. I also solo the weekly and nightfall every week. Much more rewarding in accomplishment and as far as in game rewards. You always get the top end loot when you do it yourself, instead of another guardian swooping in at the end to get your exotic or legendary

I don't know what profile you're talking about. You give no detail so who knows. All I know is that you must be looking at something off the wall. I play destiny on ps4. If you're looking at anything else besides that, then you're wasting your time. I have destiny on my xboxone also, but have not played it more than 5 minutes on there.

I haven't even done nightfall yet cause I'd get -blam!- alone lol and I'm very good at pve but even one or two lvls of difference make a big impact. I think it works out that you do 20% less damage per lvl you are under the enemy which is fine most of the time given space and hiding spots but I would get surrounded too much

If you are sunsinger with fire born unlocked then you can easily solo it. Especially if you have some decent void weapons. There is a good hiding spot to kill section from.
