This. Holy shit this. Bungie I know you do not want to make this game an MMO. But if you did many things similar to what is suggested above your audience would exponentially increase. I was expecting events to be everywhere including the city. I was hoping that in free roam at any given time there would be upwards of 30 guardians within shooting distance. The game itself CAN become legend. It is nowhere close. Don't get me wrong, I am a thing destiny fan. The problem is that I haven't played it in 2 weeks. Going back and playing the same strikes will happen. World of Warcraft for example. You do the same things. But, for example, in wow you dot beat te raid in a few weeks. Once it is released you spend months attempting to clear the content first. There are more releases and events happening in the world that you can go to. You have to farm and while you are farming herbs you end up having your guild tell you that there is a huge PvP fight somewhere. In destiny if there were sections in the world where either guardians or enemies controlled them it would be amazing. A constant battle between possessing the land or not. Similar to public events, actually threaten players ability to play the game. Send waves of enemies to take over an area. If the guardians cannot hold the enemies back then they may lose that area. So they gather a group of friends(but this group of friends needs to be huge, 15 or up. ) to fight back and claim the area so that they CAN do their story mission or bounty. Make it so that there are so many enemies setting up base on the land that land isn't usable by guardians because of all the defenses and enemies. Bungie I know this would take SO damn long to program, set up, and debug. But this game NEEDS something more. It needs something to engage players in ACTUALLY having to save humanity, no alternative. Bungie at this rate the 10 years won't last. And believe me, I really want them to.
