PSN is great now. Parity plus at this point with party chat, two free games for each PlayStation system every month, and now you can do online couch co-op and let your friends take over your game, even if they don't own it, with SharePlay.
Better than XBL, IMHO. Like I said, Microsoft is in full-on catchup mode.

We can agree to disagree on that my ps3 gets absolutely no love from me and couldn't pay me to buy a ps4 lol

I haven't turned on my PS3 in the last two months for any reason besides using Netflix when my PS4's been disconnected because I was taking it somewhere. Once GTAV drops for PS4, I'll have pretty much no reason to turn it on besides to play the classics. So we can agree to agree on no PS3 love? The thing's too damn slow now in comparison to the PS4. I recommend you do some detailed research on what the PS4's up to these days. As someone who's been gaming since 1991 and has owned almost every console made since the late 80's, I can say that, in my opinion, the PS4 is the best of the bunch and has a healthy lead on the Xbox One for good reason. But I understand if you've got an XBL community going on and don't want to leave it behind for slightly better everything. The DualShock 4 is also pretty damn great as far as console controllers go. So comfy. Real triggers. Great play and grip on the thumbsticks. I can barely use the DualShock 3 now. God forbid I pick up an Xbox 360 controller. I hate those triggers. They swing too far and feel so plasticky and springy, in a soft way. Buying a game on the PlayStation phone app while on the go and having it downloaded and ready to play when you get home is also pretty great. I'm just spoiled now by how great the PS4 is in comparison to its big brother.
