Virtual Reality?
What do you guys think of Virtual Reality headsets such as Oculus and Morpheus?
I personally think it is just a fad.
Explain your opinions below
Edit: I see VR having huge roles in military, medicine, and other fields, but I dont think it will be huge in gaming

Outside of some specialized uses, I don't see any sort of VR platforms taking off. Until someone develops something that doesn't require you to wear uncomfortable whit on your face, that is.

Though oculus may not be the only dominating force in the future, I do believe VR is only going to get better.

3 RepliesI think VR is the next step for a lot of things. Movies? You are in the movie. Therapy? If they tweak it you could use it for physical and mental therapy. Classroom? Be in WW2 in one class and magic school bus trip from the heart to mars, there is no limit. I mean the possibilities are endless if they had a mind to do it.

I think VR looks great, I can't wait to try it myself. I remember when they tried to make VR work back in the 90's but the technology just wasn't there, the headsets were huge and the graphics were just terrible, but now I think it's here to stay. Have you seen any demos of it? Some of them are really good. There are people on YouTube who have some gloves that you can use with the oculus, which means you can actually use your hands in a game instead of a controller. 1 ReplyI love the idea of VR. Have you ever used one before? As long as they don't weigh much they are great! Once you can see EVERYTHING, the screen acting as the real world, it feels much more real than just a TV.
