I am an Xbox user and yes we are now getting the feeling of not getting things for a game. However what all the Xbox users are saying is that DLC exclusives have really never been a thing, there has been early release DLC for certain platforms but all DLC content comes out to every console. And your argument about Halo is just stupid. That is a 10 year old excuse if you ask me. If I am paying the same amount of money to get content at the same time I want all the content that comes with it. Now if that new strike was a separate thing that PS users could buy then I would be all for it. But I am paying the same for less, the economics do not add up here for Xbox users to buy this DLC at the full price they are asking for. They also do not say that Xbox users will get the strike later at all. I am fine with PS having Dust Palace as a launch exclusive, thats was bought buy them and all theirs. Now that it is DLC that everyone gets, why doesn't everyone get the same content? This is the Xbox users complaint, or at least should be.

We are all paying for the same content. Sony paid for the extra content. You could look at it as something *extra* that people on PS can buy. It just that Sony has bought it for all PS players.

So you are saying that if we both pay 20 dollars for something and I get an extra thing and you do not get the same amount of stuff that you would not be pissed? And I mean this as with anything you could ever buy in life, not just game content, no matter what we are buying and I got more for the same, wouldn't that piss you off too? Sorry but no matter how PS users want to try and say do not get mad about this, well too bad because Xbox users are mad, this was never mentioned in any DLC talk that PS users got even more exclusive stuff. It is a shaft to all the players on Xbox who did not complain once about PS getting the launch exclusives, we understood it because we have gotten that. Very bad choice by Bungie to not give everyone full DLC content.

We both pay $20 + what we pay for PS+ and Xbox Gold. Sony took some of the money I paid them and got me extra content for Destiny. Microsoft does the exact same thing with the money you pay them. In this case that investment didn't work out for you. As an example if I want to play the new tomb raider with my PS4 I have to wait because MS spent money to get that exclusive. Eventually we could both pay the same amount to play tomb raider, however, you had the content much earlier than I did. With this we both pay the same, however, I get to play some content earlier that you.

Paying for early DLC content is not the same as exclusive content. Xbox players do not get the strike content, ever. That is the argument, PS users got content later yes but they got ALL the content when it came out to them.

Yes they will get it. It is exclusive to PS for 1 year.

ha ha ha and as a gamer would you want to play 10 to 9 month old content that you will probably have to pay for again to get though another DLC? a year long exclusive contact with Sony was a stupid ass move by Bungie. I can understand a 3 month exclusive but a year. they wont have xbox players waiting around that long, hell a lot of gamers are already tired of the current content.

It is a long time and I can't say that I will be still playing Destiny in that time, however, it all comes back to what Sony and MS were able to negotiate with Bungie/Activision. Maybe MS thinks that most will jump to Halo when it comes out that they didn't push too hard on Destiny? Maybe Bungie feels the same? Either way Bungie clearly think that what they get from Sony is more than enough to offset any losses on the Xbox side of things. It sucks you have to wait for extra content but the reality is it happens on both sides. PS gets some stuff, Xbox gets other stuff. Up to you to decide where you want to put your money.
