So it's ok when Microsoft does it with every single C.o.D DLC, every Skyrim DLC, the entire new Tomb Raider title, but when Sony does it people wanna bitch about it.

CoD maps one the xbox have always been exclusive for a maximum of 3 months. Content exclusive to PSN will be exclusive for an entire year. Yes totally fair.
-
How about you try reading for a change. They're not mad at the fact that you're getting an exclusive. It's the fact that it's for an entire year which is really unnerving. Would you put down $20 for a DLC pack that you couldn't play until next fall? The people who got screwed over here are the ones who bought the expansion pass and are now out of luck on that for a year. So it's ok when Sony does it for a year? and MS only does it for a month? Do the math.
-
Would you put down $20 for a DLC pack that you couldn't play until next fall?
That is 1 strike. How is 1 strike "a DLC pack that you couldn't play until next fall"?
-
Only for a month? What game has Microsoft only done it for a month? Skyrim DLC was entirely timed to Microsoft for 1 year, the new Tomb Raider game is entirely timed to Microsoft for an unknown time period. All of that Sony got nothing of until the time period was over. All Sony is getting is 1 strike and a couple of weapons, and the weapons are all RNG based rewards. They are not given to us at all. As a matter of fact the armor sets we got at launch of Destiny we rare armor and RNG based as well, I just recently got the helm from it from and engram about 3 days ago. So only thing we actually get to with out RNG is the strike. So let me jump for joy over 1 strike, that i don't have to fight the RNG system to get.
-
Did you put the money down for that DLC prior to having access to it? Didn't think so.
-
When I bought the season pass for C.o.D yes I did. Paid for the all DLC in advance but had to wait longer for the entire dlc before i got it. You paid for the expansion packs and get the expansion packs at exact same time as I do, so you get 99% of the content the same time I do, yet you got the entire C.o.D dlc content before I did even though I paid for it.
-
Skyrim was not a MS deal it was an issue the devs had with the content being made for PS so get your facts straight before posting. "Bethesda admits Skyrim Dawnguard DLC might never get PS3 release date, due to potentially insurmountable technical issues. Yeah, that again " CoD content (wich you mentioned) was not exclusive it was an early 1 month access and 1 month =/= 1 year.
-
Tell me about it, they can't handle one title while we handle titles lol
-
I'm truly sick and tired of the spoiled "entitled" children that run around the forums. First it was when the game launched, they cryed about the same stuff as they are now. And I am 100% sure they will do it with the second expansion pack as well.
-
First I have read all the comments keep it on destiny. This is the bungie forum for destiny. if you want to talk about cod or tomb raider go to the respected forums for that game.
-
Blah Blah Blah, are you so simple miinded that you can not read my entire response? I used Tomb Raider, Skyrim, and C.o.D as counter to the point that Sony only get a small part of the Destiny expansion packs as exclusive instead of the entire thing like Microsoft does with the before named gamed. So unless you can understand what is being spoken about do not speak about it, simply because it makes you look very foolish.
-
No because those games were the full dlc pack. We are getting part of the dlc which we are paying full money for.what if for the next black ops game they give you all the multiplayer maps but not the zombies expansion. Then they tell you that you will have to wait a whole year for it to come out.
-
but your getting them at the same time and not paying for them in advance and having to wait for them. Sony users get 1% more then X-box users.
-
It's still a part of the game and dlc which we have paid for. It's that we won't get everything we are paying for and that we won't get it for a entire year.
-
So when I buy the season pass for C.o.D on PS3 and pay for all the dlc packs, it's ok for Microsoft to pay extra to keep the entire dlc pack timed exclusive that is okay, but when Sony pays for a faction of the content of the Destiny expansion to be timed exclusive that is not okay?
-
I don't think it's okay that Microsoft does that and I want that changed as much as play station gamers do.
-
The difference is time. In cod you wait a month.... Not a year. Also that one strike is about 10-15% of the content not 1% it's not exactly adding that much for a dlc
-
so and entire dlc pack vs 10% of a dlc pack, you tell me which is worst
-
Do some research and educate yourself instead of spewing garbage that is in no way shape or form correct. Skyrim dlc had nothing to do with Microsoft. COD dlc was a month... You know 30 days, not a year. People are upset that they are paying the same price as you, but for less. It's like if we went and bought the exact same car but you had to wait a year to get rims and tires for your car. You'd be pretty pissed too while I was driving mine around. Not because I'm driving it around but because we paid the same price for it.... Does that make sense or should I use something simpler like apples and oranges?
-
10%when you pay for the whole thing.
