yes and no, it was down to the out cry from xbox user that the xbox wasnt able to introduce the single user game, that couldnt be sold, and having to be on the interenet 24/7, or at least once a day. I think xbox1 wanted to be completely digital too, no disks. It was a move to shaft the gamers and make more money, by completely eliminating used game sales.
if you guys didnt speak up, this would of been your reality.....or, a ps4...i would of bought a ps4 just on the cheek of microsoft to even try thatt bull

I recall that and I recall that being an important impact on my console choice between xbone and ps4 and at that time I was in the direction of buying ps4 then they changed their stance and the whole digital downloading for games was no longer an issue but what they were doing is a way bigger deal than me not getting a strike or two or getting them later. That doesn't bother me. Not being able to get no mans sky bothered me a lot but I didn't consider buying a ps4 even though halo was the sole reason I bought an Xbox back in the day. Either I play halo or no mans sky. I get to play destiny either way. So I don't get some content what I do get is a console that signs me in every time I sit down on the couch via facial recognition... And still love it

yeah thats cool, but my point was speaking up can help. accepting things for what they are is not always best.

Yea and you are right and it is a very good point but people that are screaming that Bungie hates the Xbox community and saying all this is is a Middle finger to Xbox that is irrational. Bungie is made up of gamers just like a mechanic shop is made up of individuals that love cars. Some third party came along and said "hey I heard you want to make this game, I'll give you money to do it, but you have to do this this and this" and Bungie was like oh well that's gonna suck for john and Fred cause they have x box. And the third party was like "oh well I guess me and all this money will just go home then". And Bungie wanted to make this game so they signed a contract like everyone else and they have to stick to it even though it hurts some people it was either that or nothing. Now yes people voicing their opinion is a great thing and can bring about change but my point in all this is that bungie's hands are prbly tied on the issue whether they like it or not and they can't come out and blame it on the third party cause that will piss them off and they have all the money. Now they could try to go to this third party but the third party is prbly a guy in a big office who is a business man and doesn't give a crap about the gamer. The whole thing with Xbox changing the one after public out cry was an in house decision. No contract no third party just Microsoft and their product. So they could change what they want when they want all I'm trying to say is that it might not be that simple for Bungie. Therefor not that simple for the community as well, But that doesn't de-value your point change is in the voice of the outspoken and that is absolutely true. (And also we know know who third party is)
