Thorn is fine. People just dont understand how to use it. Its not a ar.

Thorn isn't fine. My legendary hand cannon The Devil You Know is much better. Outside of pvp thorn is a very sub par hand cannon. I don't use ar's by the way so not being able to "understand how to use it" is just an absurd comment. I only use hand cannons and I would much rather be using The Devil You Know, or Lord High Fixer over Thorn in any pve setting. With the reduced ammo capacity, increased reload time, and lower impact compared to my The Devil You Know what would be the point in using it? Thorn is just barely above junk when compared to a few of the legendary HC's. Which is why it needs a buff, legendary weapons shouldn't be able to outperform their exotic counterparts and at the moment i'm sorry I wasted the time doing the exotic bounty for thorn.

The DoT is great in pvp I should have been more specific. Also the pricing rounds have impressed me in pvp. In pve it gets by but it is no fate bringer. I dont think it should be the "best" hc. I just think its qualities are unique and it dont need a buff. Juju needs a buff.

it does need a buff when people use blue hand cannons over it because the dps it puts out is so low because of the low ammo and slow reload. Simple. It's only good in pvp at the moment and most saying "it is fine, just don't know how to use it" are talking about pvp because they durn sure haven't used it in pve..... you know it's weak when your raid mates or strike mates kindly ask you to please use a different gun so you can actually help the team out...

It works in strikes. Well, atleast on my lvl 29-30s. Its new going to be useful in the raids. You need to kill shielded enemies in there. If they buff this weapon it will wreck even more in pvp. They cant buff it. The reload is not bad with gloves for Hand cannons and gunslinger hunter perks.

so your reasoning is that "too strong for pvp", "use a hunter", and "use equipment that you can't get to level 30 with" .... hence it needs a buff. Most of the stuff they could do would not effect pvp at all. Shouldn't be viable for only one class because of the class perks, and honestly I don't need to say a thing about the other equipment.

No gun is supposed to be over the top good. The gun dont need a buff. It is capable the way it is and with the ways I listed can be a real monster. It dose not need a buff you need to be precise. And its weakness is reload but it has such amazing range and stability you need to use it appropriate.

Choose wisely. Also, the reload speed...I could deal with it if the mag was 12. It's subpar compared to The Devil You Know which doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Exotic>Legendary...or so I'm told. Doesn't have to be over the top good, like you say. But if it's an exotic, it should be a little better than a legendary. Not to even mention the -blam!-ing headache it was to do the bounty in the first place. That alone would be worth it to have a better weapon than one you can buy from a vendor(TDYK).

The damage is fine. Like you said, it can't be over the top better. And maybe in PVP, it's usable. But that's only pvp. You can't really use it in the Nightfall or anywhere where a few hits and you're dead. Great, so now it's a pvp weapon and the balance is off, right? Isn't that their goal? Balance? Thorn sucks. If you can't see that there are legendary guns that are worlds better, I can't help you.

At fully upgraded I hit vex for @1400 a crit yea, I used it in nightfall for the wizards before last week and rekt them. The dot gives them no time to get a shield and your buddies can finish them off easier. Its a good gun. If they buff it, it will be a god gun trust me. I secretly hope they buff the dot damage in some way but it won't kill me of they dont. Its still pretty op. Wish it refreshed every shot instead of every 4 seconds. I have devil you know and its a good gun thorn is a good gun. You use them differently. I cant help you if you want the thorn to be the best hc for everything.

The stability upgrade makes it easier. And if your pro you can go for the range and it becomes a sniper

The stability upgrade barely does anything in comparison with most of the other Legendary HC's. That's the issue, Thorn sucks compared to guns that are supposedly lesser guns.

You do realize not everyone cares about PVP, right? The only PVP that I've really done is to actually get this gun. Also, a word of advice. If you find yourself in the extreme minority in a debate, usually you're wrong, or it doesn't matter if you're right. They're buffing it, we win.

When they buff it people will wreck even more in pvp. Then they will cry for nerf. I bet it won't get buffed. Same thing with the vex, to strong pvp got nerfed and there is not distinction between pve and pvp weapons Its already 2 headshot kill what are they gonna do make it one hit kill? Works for me. Im only against the buff because then to many people will use it. The new suros. Trust me dude. I use the gun and love it. If It gets buffed works for me. But it truly dose not need it. Looking forward to enjoying it that week before its 're nerfed.
