To be fair though, has it really seemed like you have earned anything in this game. You can buy exotics, the rarest of the rare gear, with currency that is easily obtainable. Quite sad imo. Bring it back to the days when you were lucky to get a single piece of gear. Will never happen as too many people would cry rivers of tears. Its to hard!!!

You can't just "buy exotics"--you can choose from a limited selection for a 48 hour period each week. And there are plenty of "exclusive" exotics--obtained from raiding or exotic bounties--such that the ones for sale are not the "rarest of the rare" (heck--I'd argue that some of the Raid legendaries are more rare than some of the exotics). Strange Coins aren't any easier to obtain than anything else in this game, especially for players incapable of completing the Weekly Heroic on level 28. Outside of these 3 - 9 coins per week per character, you need a blue or better engram to even have a chance of obtaining one, so I'm really not sure what your point is, other than complaining about others getting to enjoy awesome weapons, too...

I dont have a gripe, it is what it is. When I cap out at 30 i'll set the controller down until the DLC. T The "limited 48 hour window" is true, however you miss the fact that each week the stock is refreshed with new items. Strange coins are easy to obtain, the simple fact you have a chance to get one from an engram proves that point. Also the weekly / nightfall are easily completed solo if a person has the patience to do so. If you don't find 1 friend and you can complete it within 20 minutes. I would also argue that raid weapons are much better than exotics. Seems odd to me though that a legendary weapon out performs almost all exotics besides some sniper rifles, which were also sold by xur. The bounty exotics are a joke to say the least. The reward for doing these bounties rewards you with a weapon that might as well be turned into ascendant energy. My point was, I use to get excited when an exotic or "rare" legendary would pop up on my screen. Now I'm like great, another item I'll never use or have a point for, guess I'll add to my 50+ stack of ascendant shards / energy. Mytho use to be considered something of achievement. Now I see people with it all the time, it's actually rather common. Overall these items are not nearly as hard as they should be to obtain.
