This was my first exotic and I loved it. I think I used in PVP once. Long charge time, so-so range and 3 shots from an auto? Now it only "half-kills" Praetorians and the only thing I pull it out for is Vanguard fusion rifle bounties. I only keep it for the remote chance that Bungie gives it back a little of its PVE awesomeness. The Pocket Infinity is a waste of an exotic slot for PVE now, and if I played more PVP, I would probably use the Invective on smaller maps instead (don't get me started on the glacially slow reload on that POS). At least the Invective regens special ammo so you can switch to a better weapon when you have enough. I think all the bounty exotics are pretty much garbage and treat their bounties like that whenever I get them.
