The truth about the traveler...
So what if the traveler was evil and we are the darkness and what we have been told are lies, because they obviously don't have time to explain why they don't have time to explain.
Think about it, when ever we kill an enemy they drop light or glimmer. Shouldn't they drop darkness or something related to that?
Also, if you do the strike on Venus, you will hear the Archon Priest say something MIND BLOWING (in a very distorted voice) if you get close enough to him.
Prepare your anus.
Archon Priest: "The Darkness is here!"
Wuuuut?
So, just a theory. Let me know what you guys think. Are we the darkness? Do the fallen believe they are the good guys? Or were they sent to fight the darkness?

I chose "Other", because I feel that the truth is in the middle. Do not think that the Guardians are directly evil, but I do feel that we are being misled. The Speaker may have other motivations, or has become corrupted by zealousy about the lore of the traveler. I assume that there is likely cults of people in the last city that revere the Traveler and, seeing human nature, would likely organize religions around it. Not trying to phrase this in any way that offends anyone, but religion is built around lore, and lore evolves over time into magnificent stories that they did not start out as being. That is why I am interested in knowing who made the Speaker be the "Speaker". Was it an appointment by one of those religions, was it ordained by the Traveler that the Speaker would come one day, is it a bloodline (not entirely unlike royalty)? If any of that is the case, I would imagine that we would not know for some time. Imagine that if any of these types of theories are valid, it is going to come as a plot twist, much later in the life of the game.
