True, it's a weak gun for PvE but it's currently treading a thin line in Crucible.
This is why I'd honestly rather have either separate gear with unique PvP stats, or for Bungie to code in different damage models for each mode - as in a gun will do X amount of damage in PvE and Y amount in PvP. That's more work for bungie but it's the best way to keep from having to nerf crap time and again.
