Daily "where's the Bad Juju/Thorn buff you announced over a month ago?" thread
Well?
You have the time to nerf the Mythoclast and adjust values for Scout Rifles across the board within the same time span, but don't have the time to buff the exotics you stated you were going to adjust over a month ago? At the time when you announced the buffs, 99% of the community didn't even know the Mythoclast existed. Yet, the Mythoclast got adjusted before the other guns get their already announced buffs? Do you even logic?
There's really no excuse for it at this point.
Edit: I realize some of you think the Thorn does not need a buff, and while that's fine (I don't have it, I don't know), it's also missing the point. The real focus here is the fact that Bungie announced that they were going to buff both the Bad Juju and Thorn over a month ago, yet no changes have been made still (but changes were made to other guns during the same time frame).

2 RepliesBuffing is a subtle art, young one. It takes a lot of thought to figure out just how much to buff an exotic so that it won't need nerfing. The mythoclast was easy to fix.

The problem is exotics should be better than legendarys, eg thorn vs devil you know

It make take a day to fix a glitch, maybe a week to find the right balance for weapon buffs/nerfs, but it can take weeks of delay to get it though to consoles because of the systems Microsoft and Sony have in place. Any last minute changes get put in the back of the line of updates already in a queue. Sometimes there are problems with the queue so it takes longer, or something gets delayed because new priorities are found. Overall the process is much more complex than it seems.

16 RepliesI own both of these weapons, and I can kind of see why they haven't been buffed yet. They're not game-changers, but they're both pretty solid weapons. Yes the Thorn's reload time is atrocious (seriously, were it not for my Hunter's reload-quickening ability I don't know what I would do) and Bad Juju is... what's the issue with Bad Juju again? And I know they said they would buff them and it's a problem they haven't, but I can justify their quick response to the Mythoclaust which would and could wipe an entire team in seconds (slight exaggeration) while the Thorn and Bad Juju are for the most part decent guns. Priorities- they rarely make sense to anyone other than the people who have them.

Over powered weapons need to be nerfed asap making the game harder, and therefore stretching the game making it harder to get better guns before PvP players shit all over them too causing more nurfs. What we should be asking for is that bungie grows a backbone and will stand behind its creation and say play the game we made you or leave. Cause at this point we should just take all guns out except one and fight naked in a feild,(truly creating an equal game) PvP players will still complain that one gun that's left is too over powered.

I have bad juju. It's terrible. My legendary scout rifle is better in every way. If they just buffed bad jujus damage it would be fine. Compare it to suros regime. Suros has twice as many rounds and hits three times harder.

17 RepliesThorn: extremely difficult to obtain, extremely underwhelming to use. I have one, and I really enjoy hand cannons, but I won't use it. I can't speak for it leveled up, but there are other guns I would rather invest time and resources into right now. I don't own a Bad Juju yet, but I know people that do and the general consensus is lackluster. I'm with you my friend, these promised buffs should come sooner than later.

A thing in videogame balancing where damage over time is involved. There is a very thin line of making it useless or "OP" I am sure they are taking careful consideration onto the balancing of that weapon, as for BadJuJu, no clue why isn't this buffed yet. And also I think it is for all underperforming exotics, like Super Good Advice, Midas, Truth etc So there will likely be a patch containing all of them.

Yeah... I have both those bounties sitting uncompleted. I wasn't really excited about doing them at all, but then I saw the post BY BUNGIE that those particular weapons would be getting buffed and I then went forward and started working on them... only to notice that with the last weapon patch... Nothing had happened to those weapons at all. So... now they are Partially completed in my bounty list...

5 RepliesHow about fixing something that's actually useful. Like the timer at the end of the Vault, it's been out for over a month now and it still doesn't take you to the slot machine . Anyone can do without the Bad Juju fix.

Because why would they give a shit about their consumers? They already made their money. To any Bungie employees that see this, this game and how you are acting as a company is feeling very anti-consumer. Don't take the Rockstar route and decide to not tell us anything. Interact with your consumers, have fun with us, tell us jokes or something, anything. Take some notes from Riot Games' employees, they go on the League of Legends subreddit and talk with fans, they hint at big things coming, it's not that hard. You're just leaving us in the dark and telling us about like 1 thing every week or so. Where is the Bungie I grew up with from Halo CE?

You do know it isnt that hard. They just need to change some number values. The only long part is the "finding the right value to change it to part". They fixed loot caves in a heart beat by simply increasing respawn time.
