Daily "where's the Bad Juju/Thorn buff you announced over a month ago?" thread
Well?
You have the time to nerf the Mythoclast and adjust values for Scout Rifles across the board within the same time span, but don't have the time to buff the exotics you stated you were going to adjust over a month ago? At the time when you announced the buffs, 99% of the community didn't even know the Mythoclast existed. Yet, the Mythoclast got adjusted before the other guns get their already announced buffs? Do you even logic?
There's really no excuse for it at this point.
Edit: I realize some of you think the Thorn does not need a buff, and while that's fine (I don't have it, I don't know), it's also missing the point. The real focus here is the fact that Bungie announced that they were going to buff both the Bad Juju and Thorn over a month ago, yet no changes have been made still (but changes were made to other guns during the same time frame).

3 RepliesI have both Thorn and the Devil You Know. Thorn is great and all with the poison damage but that's the extent of how good it is. Plus range is a little better. TDYK overall has higher impact, reload speed and a 12 round mag. Both take two shots to the head in PvE not sure about PvP. So naturally I would agree that Thorn needs at least a buff to the reload speed and maybe at least a 8 round mag minimum

3 RepliesI find the bad juju to be fine. I have one upgraded fully & it's beast against small enemies. I would not take the juju to a boss fight even though I would love too. The thorn's bounty is by far the hardest but doable. I don't have my thorn fully upgraded because I'm beefing up my mida multi-tool first. I would imagine that thorn once upgraded would be beast if used right. I'm not saying nobody is using them right at all. I'm saying from my experience I think they're fine. Would I love to see the buff ? Hell yeah. But if bungie don't deliver, it wouldn't be no surprise. I mean look at the rest of the game.

Right now the bad juju doesn't feel like and exotic as far as power goes, I have it and it absolutely sucks on pvp, this guns needs a -blam!-in buff ASAP

1 ReplyThe Bad juju and The Chance FWC hands cannon don't always auto reload/add ammo with kills, as advertised. The Bad Juju sometimes doesn't count a shank as a kill and auto reload. The Chance occasionally adds a bullet with a kill, but the way the description is written you would think you get a bullet with each kill. Description should say ..."kills HAVE A CHANCE TO add ammo directly to the magazine"

9 RepliesThorn needs an upgraded clip size, reload speed and a slight increase to its impact to be worthwhile. Also needs to not look like a spiked hand vacuum while you're holding it because it's profile looks awkward, but that one is just personal preference since it looks awesome in profile. Until these happen I'll stick with the devil you know.

3 RepliesThorn should get a buff. It is the hardest exotic bounty available. I've done all the exotic bounties except for the super good advice, which I have been told is the easiest. At a minimum the dot should reset with each hit. Since bungie is already going to do asymmetrical buff/nerf on weapons (in pvp and pve think vex mythocast). It would be nice to additionally see dot either stack in dmg and/or time in pve. I could see how ppl would feel this might be over powered in pvp. Btw I have my thorn leveled up minus the additional damage at the end. I also have the last word and the devil you know for comparison sake (just hoping one day I'll get the hawk moon). The bad juju which I don't have leveled up just seems horrible and will need quite a bit of over haul from what I have seen so far. Don't even know where to start on that weapon. If it where up to me I'd say bungie should scrap the weapon and just let ppl trade it in for any exotic weapon they'd like of their choosing considering the tease and work already incurred in acquiring this "weapon".

At this point their just gonna nerf every other gun so thorn is on par with them instead of buffing it. Also the dot should do void damage IMO since you had to use void damage for like the whole damn bounty.

It's clear, they're waiting for me to finish the bad-juju bounty first. With my first class skill, I manage to kill about 1-2 per crucible match, that's what, 30 points each? To get to the needed 10000 points, it's going to be Christmas - next year of course.

4 RepliesI think thorn does not need a better reload speed.... it should have 10 - 12 mag size so if you have a problem with the reload let it just be reload have a problem with bullets let it be more shouldn't have both IMO

Thorn is complete garbage right now. The legendary hand cannon from the vanguard is WAY better than thorn.

It'll be released when you don't give a s**t anymore because you have tons of other things that are better anyway. My juju and thorn are permanent fixtures in my vault.
