What's the point in doing the raid more than once? Are you really that addicted to the loot drops? You realize it's no different than a slot machine addiction right?

There is different loot in the Raid, guns as well as armour you can't get elsewhere. It's also a good source of ascendant materials and I think it's the most awesome level in the game to play! It also seems there's a lot we haven't discovered about it yet.

No, seriously, I don't understand why you would raid over and over. You get raid gear, which only helps you in raids, so you can get to 30 and do the raid again? Then repeat the process over and over? What's the point? It doesn't even help you in crucible.

Whatever you're on, I'll take two! Raid Gear doesn't JUST benefit you in the Raid, you special attributes to help you with your weapons and abilities, i.e. Extra Heavy Ammo, Faster Reload with Special Weapons, More Super Energy from Non-Guardian Kills, etc. All beneficial for whatever you plan to do on Destiny.

Normal raid -> 29th -> Hard Raid -> 30th -> Max Level (Wait for expansion work on other chars) That's MOST people's drive to playing MMOish games.

This is an FPS though, not an MMO. What's the point in getting to 30? It's useless in crucible.

What's the point of a fps then? Its basically the same thirty seconds over and over... Enemy appears on screen, you shoot it, repeat.

That's the pve. The enemies aren't even random. The focus of the game is pvp, where you're shooting at other humans...

I don't see how the focus of the game is pvp. A whopping 4 game modes that are all variations on deathmatch? Doesn't sound like a PvP-centric game to me. I mean if thats what you love playing thats all fine and well, but the PvP content is even more lacking than the PvE.

Definitely not the main focus. Only part of the focus. If your a PvP player, then the raid isn't going to do much for you. For those who like PvE more, the raid loot has many benefits

Like what? It's inferior to other gear, it only helps you complete that specific raid again.

The raid chest piece I have increases handcannon ammo. They have the same, if not better (depending on the player), benefits as any other legendary armor in the game. And being level 30 does matter in PvE

Thanks for proving my point. It increases hand cannon ammo. You can buy gear that does that AND something else.

Ok ass of course it does something else. Increases HC ammo and reload speed for all special weapons. What I said was specific fir being beneficial to me. Thanks for proving my point that you obviously aren't very knowledgable
