hi legend, (cool name BTW) have you ever been into a 8 hour during raid? Guess not . but i can tell its pretty annoying if you discuss a plan and than everybody goes there own way. And i agree its pretty shitty if a guy gives you a big mouth and than fails completely himself. Anywho i do prefer an person as 'leader' or 'overwatch' helps keeping the team together and focused. Mutual communications is key here so don't take orders like a b*tch and communicate!

You people are all idiots! It's a game! Have fun playing it or don't play it. Why so serious? Please, keep feeding me comments. I've been in raids with guys that bark orders and bitch and whine the whole time, and I leave because it drains the fun out of the game.

Cause it's everyone else's fault, right? Look, I see where you're coming from, but raids are about learning it, and it's a lot of fun if you play with people who are learning, too. DarkChildOfLight is doing a service by helping the twits that think you faceroll a raid and never take the time to listen and learn. It's like any other game but with a higher learning curve. If you don't like that style of gameplay, then don't do the raid, but don't demonize people for giving helpful tips. He's being the opposite of an elitist tool. He's helping people that don't understand raids have a clearer picture. Don't be a dick about it.

Btw you're 38 and u still sound like that? I'd never wana raid with you or have you on my friends list. 40 year old virgin over here.....

Nope I get working together, but when you come off as an overbearing, bossy, "I'm better than everyone" asshat, you have to think to yourself, "why in the hell would I want to play with this person?" And I'm 38 years old, so take your age rhetoric and shove it.

This dude isn't coming off as overbearing and bossy, and what's more is you probably haven't even heard him in raid. People like these know when to be stern. For example: so and so, you're getting killed by supplicants. Stand on the pillar or you're going to die and we're going to lose. If you aren't doing your job, you are wasting everyone's time. Raids have roles, and every one of his points were constructed clearly and in a friendly way. If you can't do what he listed, you're probably going to do badly and get the experience you're referring to above. One quick question. Let's say he is acting like an "I'm better than everyone" asshat. How are you any different with posts like these?

which one of his points is not valid? for an mmo-like game, this is pretty liberal for endgame stuff play wow or ffxi, the endgame stuff sometimes takes 10+ hours just to finish

Are my standards too high? Is it too much to ask for people to be considerate of others? We all want to have fun in Destiny. The fun in the Raid is in completing it. The quicker the better, unless you are part of a group of 6 who want to complete it in slow time.

The standards aren't too high, it's jusr amusing you feel people shouldn't play the raid if they can't follow your lead and take it too seriously.

If everyone is talking at the same time and running off doing their own thing then there won't be any co-ordination and the whole team will wipe. Endlessly.
