the gun was ruined for me, it's far too common and caused me too much grief in PvP. it has nothing to do with stats or perks, it's just plain annoyance that turned me away

Ah, that makes sense. Personally I won't be stepping foot in the Crucible until Bungie appropriately nerfs it. I did buy it from Xur today and I'm delighted with it, but shudder to imagine myself in a game versus 6 other Suros wielders, which will probably be the case in 80% of the games.
