I'm curious how this would work out for people like myself. Rank 5 with the New Monarchy, and I am almost rank 3 with every other faction. By today I will be 3 with Dead Orbit and by next week I will probably be 3 with the FWC. Would I be affiliated with my highest rank or get to choose?

it would be a special event... meaning it wouldn't last all the time... at the start of it you choose which one you want to represent... the reputation and everything won't matter. I myself have them all ranked up also.. I simply want to choose one and fight against the others... I mean it's simple that way.. One weekend fight for Dead Orbit.. The next weekend fight for FWC or New Monarchy... or keep your allegiance and fight for the same Faction every time...

I guess by which factions class item you have currently equiped. This however raises the question what of players that dont have any equiped?

Edited by JayBizzle311: 10/24/2014 6:49:16 AMit's just something you click at the beginning... and when the weekend is over it don't matter. you just choose a faction and fight for them... it's that simple. that's what I'm envisioning.. a big battle between all 3 factions for the weekend and bungie tracks the stats... we as players just choose 1 and play... it doesn't have anything to do with emblems or class armor or gear..

Maybe put us in an open area. Must be wearing emblem or class item. Turn on pvp in the patrol areas for a weekend 😈
