I think that destiny should have a market where individuals can trade their items for another item or glimmer or even materials dependent on what the seller is asking for. For example, Pokemon X and Y have a GTS where you can trade your bidoof for a Yvetal. So in Destiny I think it would be a good idea to implement the same system. For example you place your sunbreakers on the global market and ask for thorn in exchange. Another user goes on the market and looks for Sunbreakers on the market and finds this deal and since he has two Thorns he decides to go for the trade. Both parties are happy. I know it removes the intrigue of playing and farming atheon for hours to get exotics bit I think it could be something that could work in this game if implemented correctly.
